Former King Albert of Belgium has been handed a paternity lawsuit. Miss Delphine Boël has long said that Albert was her real biological father (a dna test proved that her legal father wasn’t her biological), and has been trying to get someone of the royal family to compare their dna; Prince Laurent, the former King’s youngest son has been supportive of her and was willing to submit a dna test. The test, as far as my knowledge wasn’t done.
Now that Albert has abdicated (and tried and failed to get more money for his expenses), he has no legal protection that he had as King, so miss Boël is free to present her lawsuit, which she is doing.
So far, no new news to report, but should be interesting to report the results.
