Monday Quote: Rose Kennedy

Birds sing after a storm. Why shouldn’t people feel as free to delight in whatever sunlight remains to them?
~Rose Kennedy.

How true, sometimes life can toss you many hardships and there are days when you don’t even know how you’re going to survive; but even during the darkest of days, there’s a little ray of sunshine willing to make its way through the clouds and the storm.

So, why not enjoy that little spot of light? Why cling onto misery and not find delight in whatever small thing that it might be? Why not take a deep breath and forget our sorrows for a while and find joy?

Let us be happy, for as long as you’re not harming anyone else, happiness should be enjoyed and no one should feel deprived of it.

  1. What a lovely reminder for a Monday! No matter how overwhelming life can get and how dark it seems buried under the avalanche of unhappiness, there’s always that light flickering through the cracks to help us find our way out.
